My First Try: SnowGlobe
The dream: A swirl of possibility
-It all started, as so many things these days, with a late-night scroll. My finger hovered over a Tumbler post featuring a snowglobe tumbler, and it was the visual metaphor of my own life. My dreams felt like the glitter—shimmering, full of potential, but just swirling aimlessly. I wanted to find a way to make them settle with intention, to make them a beautiful, purposeful part of my daily view. The initial idea was just that: a beautiful, but abstract, image.
The plan: Gathering the ingredients
-Just like I researched the right liquid ratios and glitter types for my tumbler, I began to do the same for my life. The glitter represented my specific goals: starting a side hustle, learning a new skill, or traveling somewhere new. The vegetable glycerin was the structure—the step-by-step plan that would slow down the chaos and give my dreams a clear path forward. I had to meticulously measure and add each component, realizing that even the smallest details, like using distilled water, were important for a clear, lasting result.
The process: Shaking, settling, and starting again
-The process of making the tumbler wasn't perfect. There were frustrating moments when the glitter clumped or there were too many bubbles. It was a messy, glitter-covered process—much like my journey towards my goals. I had to shake it up, let it settle, and sometimes accept that a few imperfections made it uniquely mine. These setbacks taught me resilience and the importance of adapting the plan when necessary.
The outcome: A beautiful, tangible reality
The end result was a shimmering, slow-moving snowglobe tumbler. Every time I shake it, I am reminded of my progress. The glitter—my goals—no longer swirls without purpose. It now settles slowly and beautifully, showing that with the right plan and a little patience, my dreams can become a tangible, beautiful part of my everyday life. It's a reminder that it’s okay for things to be a little messy sometimes, as long as you're moving forward with intention.
