To fix air bubbles in a snow globe, you will need to add more liquid to displace the air. The method depends on whether you are working with a snow globe tumbler, which has a hole in the bottom, or a traditional, sealed snow globe.
For snow globe tumblers
This method requires a syringe and a bent, blunt-tip needle, which can be purchased from craft suppliers.
Prep the syringe. Use pliers to carefully bend a blunt-tip needle to about a 45-degree angle. This allows you to reach bubbles that are along the side of the tumbler.
Overfill the tumbler. Add your glitter and solution (distilled water and glycerin or a special snow globe solution) into the bottom of the tumbler. Continue filling until the solution beads up slightly over the hole.
Insert the needle. Insert the bent needle of the syringe into the hole and position the tip within the air pocket.
Remove the air. Gently pull the plunger back to draw air from the bubble. As the air is removed, the excess solution from the top will be drawn into the tumbler, replacing the air.
Seal the tumbler. Once the bubbles are gone, insert a plug into the hole and seal it with UV resin or another strong, waterproof adhesive.
